Jewish Tour--Jewish Santiago
The Jewish community of Santiago is a small compared to that of neighboring Buenos Aires. This is due in large part to its difficult-to-access location when Jews were fleeing pogroms in the Old Country in huge numbers (prior to the building of canals in the 1900s).
Needless to say, there is a vibrant Jewish community here and we would love to introduce you to it during your visit. Our Chile coordinator, photographed here with her daughter at one of the Jewish schools, looks forward to hosting you.
